Truth Pending

They attacked us first, or so reports said. In a split second, a suitcase nuke reduced the city to ash. We vowed to strike back 100 times harder when we found them. 

Rumors exploded. Some blamed communists trying to start a revolution. Others claimed it was fascists trying to gain power. A few swore it was a lone wolf trying to make a statement. Many agreed it was a government plot trying to steal our freedoms.

But who can we believe? How can we ever know? And where can we find the truth in the noise of the Information Age?
