A Turn of Luck

As I signal to turn left, the Chevy pickup truck behind me speeds past on the right shoulder, horn blaring. The driver throws a middle-finger salute out the window and yells something that sounds like “Luck you!”
I’m going a steady 37 in a 35 mph zone. What’s the problem?
The pickup ahead speeds up; an oncoming car suddenly whips around behind him, red and blue lights flashing, siren wailing. I smirk and make my turn. Maybe there is justice in the world after all.
