The Prime Minister stood before King Bartholomew’s throne.
“Today I am appointing Lord Barnaby Bragglesworth as Royal Herald,” said the king. “As a lawyer, he is exceptionally qualified to speak on my behalf and deliver proclamations and royal decisions to my subjects.”
“But Your Majesty, Lord Bragglesworth has not passed the bar exam to become a lawyer,” said the Prime Minister. “He is not qualified to be the Royal Herald.”
“He is not qualified, Prime Minister? Nonsense! I personally witnessed it with my own eyes.”
“Yesterday, as we rode in the Royal Carriage together, we passed right by the bar!”
