The Twilight and the Dawn

  • Drama & Literary

I entered into my twilight years
But it turned out to be the dawn

I thought I knew how it would end
The look and feel of it all

Then what I foresaw went drifting away
Like a ghostly mist in the breeze

And when it was gone
I discovered how much
I want the life I have now
