Crimson Stains

My hands drip crimson as I put the knife in the sink. What a mess. I scrub hard with soap and water, but to my dismay, my hands are stained. A dead giveaway to the act I committed. 

I need something stronger, like Lava Soap or Ajax.

I don’t regret what I did, though. The knife was razor sharp and cut easily through the flesh, and strangely, I enjoyed it. I will do it the same way again, except for one thing. 

Next time I cut beets for my smoothie, I’ll wear gloves so the juice doesn’t stain my hands.
