It terrifies me to no end, beginning anytime, anywhere, a silent ambush, with no warning or sound. Imperceptible at first, it quickly grows in ferocity of attack, every second more intense than the last, until I can think of nothing else.
That itch. In the exact middle of my back, the one place on my body I can’t reach, no matter how hard I stretch and contort my limbs to try. A mere inch from my fingertips that might as well be a million miles away. Reaching the moon is probably an easier feat than scratching that impossibly distant itch.
